ok my car is going to be lowered, with skunk2 springs...which is about 2.25. so i found some rota slipstream 16x7, but what offset is the best: 40mm, 45mm, or 48mm? thanks alot guys.

I think +45 is your best bet. I don't have rotas, but I have 17x7 rims, and a +42 offset. I rub in the rear (if I don't add negative camber). However my tires size is 205/45. I'm pretty sure you'll be ok with +40 if you get 205/40.
