| Re: GSX turbo kit? OK, so I used to have a 2002 Civic EX coupe. I used the HKS manifold to use a 16G Turbo from Mitsu (will also work with the 14b T25 and 20G, internal wastegate) then had a local shop build the down pipe which wasn't very long as an aftermarket downpipe for the EX lines up pretty well (you have to run an O2 sensor "interference system" because there won't be a Catalytic Converter. A universal FMIC works great. You can use the feed line off the back of the engine next to the oil filter. Just drill a hole in your oil pan and put a 2 lock connection on the oil pan and connect the lines.
If your turbo needs a water line, you'll have to run that off an aux line as well. Mine was just oil... If you need any more information, let me know. The HKS turbo manifold is A LOT more reliable than the tubular styles around, especially if you're running stock internals.
It ran really lean at 6-8 lbs. A Walpro 190 fuel pump and some upgraded injectors will fix that problem. Don't go over 10lbs as that's how I blew my engine. LOTS OF POWER compared to stock though. |
