Turboing d17a1

What troubles might I be looking at if I did this?
Stock internals.
Automatic Transmission.

I wouldn't run it more than 6psi.

Re: Turboing d17a1

Most popular turbo I have seen on those engines is the Garrett GT25. TSI makes a half decent looking kit for them on procivic.com Try looking at that one.

slowassd17 has a spectacular aura about slowassd17 has a spectacular aura about
Re: Turboing d17a1

so your SPA kit is pretty much useless because you are going to have to run your charge piping differently if you are goin to run an intercooler. an correct me if im wrong but the kit didnt come with any kind of injectors or engine management? so the money you put into buyin that kit, your really not going to be using anything more then the turbo, down pipe, and manifold, and for that price i could havee sold you a turbo a down pipe an SF manifold an engine management system and a dezod vacuum manifold.

He lives in the Netherlands Brandyn. Shipping would have owned.

That said yeah, the only good about that SPA kit is the manifold.

Arrow Re: Turboing d17a1

I hava already the feul management system and injectors changed.

I use the Greddy E-Manage Ultimate.
with the 310 cc RC injecors.

i have buyed the kit and the part separate because is have a civic Hatchback not the coupe so i have to make everything custom for the cooling
and i am turboing a D14Z6 the exhaust is the same as the D17 engine.

Shipping to The Netherlands isn't cheap over $500.
