Re: Who wants a JDMFabtech Intake Mani? Steve and I do! - Serious Interest Only
Yeah I had every intention of getting them out this week but the delay getting the mock up parts and mostly the fact that we are in the process of moving to a bigger shop kind of put a kink in this weeks planning. I am glad I didn't just send em out. 2 of the holes needed to be opened up, for whatever reason they weren't opened up to the final size. They are all set and everything bolts up perfect. I'm very happy with the new programs we made up. BTW heres a picture of the n/a manifold. It still needs a T cable bracket and the npt ports but other than that, this is what it looks like.

The plenum looks huge in the picture but its actually more proportionate than it looks. The volume is about 25% bigger than a Y8. It may take a little throttle response off the bottom end but hopefully it will shine a little more up top.

Im going to ship the topmounts tomorrow, nothing was open today. I'll get to you with some tracking numbers tomorrow night. The shop is all moved in, just fighting to get everything organized. Hell we even worked yesterday, I'm whipped.

Hopefully you guys got your tracking numbers via email. If not let me know and I'll get em to ya. I'm shooting for a friday shipment for the N/A. I'm leaving for a long overdue vacation this coming weekend so I wont be around and probably not online. Cruise for 7 days, woohoo!
The race car mockup is almost done. We havent worked on it much lately though. We gotta do a few more things before getting it certified but its getting there. Waiting on the wastegates to finish the turbo mockup.

PMed.
BTW I didnt think about it before but make sure to use some Loc-tite on the throttle cable bracket. Tighten it to like 10-12 ft/lbs or so. Green Loc-tite would be the best choice but blue or red would probably be fine if thats all you have.
The other manifold is finished and will ship friday am for sure.
