anti engine stall/ idle adjustment setting help. (greddy ultimate)
i was wondering if anyone on here could send me what they have for the anti stall, and idle adjustment setting. i have everything else on my base map except that. If im stopped at a red light for more then ten seconds then my car idles lower then 500 rpm. also after i had tuned my car with my rough base map, the exhaust still has the black exhaust coming out the back. so im guessing that my injectors still need to be adjusted again. so if anyone else has a good rough base map for that as well that would be helpfull. i already went through the seach method and used the ones that i found that were similar but stll no luck.

Re: anti engine stall/ idle adjustment setting help. (greddy ultimate)
If your stalling and have black smoke coming out you're running too rich simple as that. When are you getting tuned? I don't think the anti stall feature will help if you're running too rich. Do you have a wideband? What is your air fuel ratio at idle?
Re: anti engine stall/ idle adjustment setting help. (greddy ultimate)
yeah i know its a tune issue. and i figured that i might be running to rich. i have the rsx-s injectors in. but as for what im running this is what i have so far as for a rough base map.
Re: anti engine stall/ idle adjustment setting help. (greddy ultimate)
Are you using the correction factor? I also I heard it wasn't good to use the airflow map to tune in terms of adding fuel but if your car is running fine its ok I guess.
Re: anti engine stall/ idle adjustment setting help. (greddy ultimate)
not sure what you mean by the correction factor. and the car runs ok. it boost goot and everything beside the excessive black exhaust coming out the back constantly. what did they say would be best to tune it with then?
Re: anti engine stall/ idle adjustment setting help. (greddy ultimate)
The injector correction factor is what I was referring to. Its in the parameter settings where you say you have 240cc stock injectors and input 310cc for rsx injectors and it scales down the duty cycle for you. Anyways, I was told that if you want to add fuel you only use the injection map and if you want to take fuel out thats where you use the airflow map. Like I said if your car is running fine then no need to worry.
Re: anti engine stall/ idle adjustment setting help. (greddy ultimate)
but like you said its running rich, so do i need to use the correction factor and if so do i just take out the air flow map. also since im using rsx-s injectors do i put the k20a as the engine since the d17 is not one of the optipns under vehicle settings?
Re: anti engine stall/ idle adjustment setting help. (greddy ultimate)
Don't touch the correction factor until you get tuned bc it will throw off your entire map. Just take out a lil bit of fuel until you can idle in the airflow map. No leave the settings as is you want it to be d17 I'll find post for you that explains the injector correction. I'm at work now so when i get home.
Re: anti engine stall/ idle adjustment setting help. (greddy ultimate)
those are some good threads. i think that the formula for correcting air from the injectors size may work. thanks alot for the help man. i really appriciated it. if this doesnt work then ill get back to you.
