Help!! Everything Has Been Double Checked!!! Car Not Going Into Boost!!!
I just happened today but my car is not going into boost. The boost gauge shows vaccuum but will not go past like 2psi. I double checked my vaccuum lines and pipes and nothing seems to be loose. I can hear the turbo spooling but no power is being gained. HELP!!!!

its obviously a boost leak if you can hear the turbo spooling up. where did you tap your boost gauge to? what is its boost reference. if the vaccum is normal then its a boost leak. you would be able to hear a vaccuum leak. check to see if your couplers are bad. a buddy had the same problem as you, he tightened all the couplers down but it was still not boosting, turned out one of the couplers ripped somehow. hope this helped you a little bit. keep us updated.
I would guess that the wastegate is malfunctioning. If not that, then yes the couplings. Then the intercooler, well yeah I guess all the ideas are already listed above.

I had the same exact problem, try switching out the wastegate spring, or just stretching the one you currently have, fixed my problem right away. Good luck!
