like the title says, i need help. a 30 min job has turned into a 2 day battle royal. I started with a replacing the drivers side axle shaft. I hit a couple rough spots due to rust, etc.. it all would have went smooth if it werent for the lower ball joint. I tore the boot using some stupid fork to disconnect the ball joint. I figured i would just replace it, so i wasnt very careful around the threads. Now the threads are shot in the stud and i cant get the damn thing out. I have the clamp with spacers to press it out, but its positioned in there so that none of the spacers will lay flush on the flat side.
How do i get this damn thing out!
solved it.. took everything apart, stuffed it into the bench vice and it came right out.
