'93 Civic abnormal tire wear

I just bought this car. It had new tires when I got it. 2500 miles later I have steel sticking out of the inside edges of both front tires. Obviously, I have an alignment problem. Taking it in on Monday but it looks like camber. Here's what I'm wondering... This car has had an engine swap done on it. Is it possible the new engine might have enough extra weight to cause the camber change I'm seeing? It's got a Honda four cylinder in it, runs good and gets good mileage. I'm essentially ignorant about Honda engines so I can't even guess what it came out of. To remove this ad, register today for free or log in if already registered!
