2000 Civic Front Ball Joint Replacement!

Hi, not sure if this is already posted on the site, if so please send the link.
I want to knwo how to remove and replace the ball joint on my 2000 Civic Dx Coupe. Im aware I have to rent the pressing tool, but how exaclty do you go about removing the joint. A step by step process will help as I am getting back into the civic seen.
