Hi All! Just bought my silver 2003 5spd civic LX sedan and wonder what would be a good suspension upgrade?
I am looking for a minor lowering, I don't want it slammed to the weeds because it SNOWS here in South Dakota...
I want firm but compliant ride quality with improved handling that can withstand some autocross action, but isn't abusive the rest of the time. The car will be road tripped regularly.
I don't think I want to go to all the added expense of a complete coil over kit, so springs/shocks would be preferable, at least for now!
And finally... are there any pitfalls or difficulties any of you have faced when upgrading the suspension in your rides? Just want to know exactly what I am getting into as I have moved from the German engineered world of BMW e30's back into Honda's. My last ride was an '88 crx hf before the bimmer and it was a FUN project!
Thanks!
Josh
