what is the honda part number for the 2002 Civic Factory Performance Suspension?

just curious but does anyone know where i can find the part numbers for the 2002 Civic coupe factory performance suspension?

does anyone have any info about it?

my suspension is pretty worn out...i'm looking for some new shocks and maybe springs if i can find something that'll give me a 0.75" drop...i dont want anything like hr sports which will drop the car about 1.3" cuz i'm already having a hard enough time getting around in the snow when the car is stock height...are there any springs out there that'll give me a 0.75" drop?

Hey,

the HFP gives about a 1.5 inch drop. I called The Honda Dealership because i have an HFP Model Civic but one of the struts went out on me. So i needed to replace just one strut...

But unfortunately i had to buy the whole kit, they dont sell individual hfp parts... but the only suspension kit they could find for our car was off a 2004 model... it's $800 *not including installation*

i suggest going with KYB that's what i did and i've never been happier.

Just get the struts... or are both ur struts & springs worn?
If so they have a FAQ that supplies all the springs suppliers and what kind of drop they offer.

Check it out and let me know what you do

with the hfp kit and a 1.5" drop, do you get any camber wear?

i'm gonna get some tokico shocks and was looking for some springs that'll give slightly less than 1.3" drop...my car is already stock height and i'm plowing through snow

how were you able to use 2004 suspension parts on a 01-02? i thought honda made changes to the shock housing size?

where can i find some info about the hfp suspension kit? it was never available in canada and i cant find any info on it

btw, why didn't you just replace your oem shocks w/ aftermarket ones? isn't it cheaper?

Then dont put new springs on it... i mean if your stock height and your plowing throw snow, i prob. wouldn't lower it, just get those tokico shocks...

Honda said that the 2004 would fit on mine... so idk and that was that i was talkin direct to a dealer, not over the phone... It took them forever to find it tho! but i really wanted to keep the HFP suspension... but your right, aftermarket is cheaper and it handles better...

Um... i just tried lookin for something that will give you more accurate information... but i tried for about 30 min. and no luck. Your best bet... call honda.

But if your anything like me, which i mean you wanna save money, your prob. gonna end up goin with aftermarket, because your gonna get the same results either way.

so...
It's all your pref.
good luck and let me know.
