If you have GCs for stock struts you can't use Konis without new sleeves, but your only viable option with GCs is to use Konis, so get the right parts and use them.

I'm not sure if this would be a solution for GC's... but if you're interested, we're putting on a gb for Tokico Blues (click my sig for link).... maybe boilermaker can offer his opinion on Blues w/ ground control coilovers, maybe they wouldn't work b/c they're non-adjustable?

they dont work because the valving isnt strong enough and the shocks will underdampen the springs. This causes that "bouncy" ride that people bitch about with ground controls. If they'd use shocks firm enough for the spring rate, it wouldn't bounce.

Boilermaker1, Thanks a lot I have the GC's but I have been waiting for a shock that would be a good combo for them, I am part of the Tokico group buy but if they will not work then I may be out. What shock do you suggest?

I don't know how to word that and make it clearer.

as for the adaptor from stock struts to koni's, it just helps to hold the GC coils firm, but you can also use the stock strut adaptors (rear). as for dampers to match GC best, like boiler said, Koni's.... even with the koni's personally i felt that it is still isnt valved strong enough for me. when i had that setup, i rode daily full stiff, which eliminated any sort of bounce..... abut now i'm on Buddy club rsd and their piston design is imo, beyond god-like. :P
