General Suspension Question

I have an 01 Civic that has many problems similar to ones I have found on this forum: rattling noise from the front, bumpy ride, etc. (My 92 Civic has none of these problems btw.)

I am looking to improve the "ride" of my car. Performance is important, but I this car is typically driven by my wife so I am not looking for a racing suspension. If I replce the shocks and struts, will the bumpy ride be improved? Any suggestions?

If you pretend that cars are moving cones, then the roads become your personal autocross course.

I live my life 1 cone at a time, for those 70 seconds or less, I'm free

Would you suggest replacing just the struts or getting a strut/spring kit from Tokico? I am looking to improve the quality of the ride more than I am the handling.

Why would you lower? If you have no reason to lower, then I would stick to just replacing the dampers (strut/shock).

You can
1) replace just the dampers with something nicer like Tokico blues
2) replace the dampers with something race desiged like Konis
3) Get a set of basic coilovers and just leave them at the highest setting, Tein basics
4) get a set of shocks and a mild drop of springs (eibach prokit)
