Basic 2001 Civic Accessories Question

There's a cylinder-ish piece missing from the part of the interior to the right of the windshield that's causing the frame to hang down. I've gone to a couple of parts stores and they haven't had it. On the piece itself it says A8.

It's right above the passenger side mirror in that google photo I found. Any help would be much appreciated, this has been bugging me!

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one

I'm staring at this pic and I can't figure out what you are trying to describe.

Can you take a pic of whatever it is in your own car and post it here?

It sounds like he is talking about the passenger side A Pillar cover/garnish. You will have to probably get a new one from the dealer.

Yes that's it. It's just hanging off the frame. Damn, okay.

Re: Basic 2001 Civic Accessories Question

I realize this is way late but I had a similar deal on the driver side A pillar cover, I went to Autozone and bought a pack of the black interior trim panel things, replaced the missing/broken one, and slapped that cover back on. Good as new.
