My Honda Civic :)

Hey guys,

Well I've got a 54 plate Honda Civic EP3 1.6 (3dr)

I used to have a seat ibiza 1.9 tdi..

But bloody hell the thing drinks! I mean i've tried driving carefully, low revs, getting to the lights on time etc.

Yet im only getting about about 300ish miles with a full tank!
Is there something wrong with my car?

Any sort of additives? or tuning? to like increase the mpg!?

Thanks

(by the way.. what would be the pcd and offset of this..I wanna purchase some wheels! i think they're 215/40/17..)

Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers

Re: My Honda Civic :)

lubecontrol.com if they ship to you makes great oil and gas additives. otherwise do the usual tuneup stuff and remove heavy items from the car. better make sure those wheels weigh less than stock, otherwise youre in for a big shock if you think youre getting bad gas mileage now.

True say mate! forgot about the weight of them!

Do you have any idea of what the pcd and offset would be? Ive been offered one with pcd 4x100 et40..

Lubecontrol? is that available in the UK?

Thanks again

Re: My Honda Civic :)

Well I'll find out.. And yes it is the hatchback one mate :P

But yeah, I managed to get them on! look quite good aswell

I was trying to look around on ebay for some performance stuff, and i ended up buying those chips but realised afterwards they were like a resistor or something and would end up using more fuel instead of saving it!

Has anyone tried the cheap chips from ebay?

o0o Before i go, what about these lights?
What do you think of them? Blue/Red?
