i'm pickin up a short shifter tomorrow

Like the title says i'm goin to pick one up from craigslist. The guy says it fits D series. I'm assuming that it'll fit my 05 coupe seeing as i have the d17. I was wondering if anyone can post a link on a DIY install for a short shifter? I'm brand new to the whole mod's scene so any help would be greatly appreciated To remove this ad, register today for free or log in if already registered!

That sounds wrong to me...I could easily be wrong. I believe there is a DIY somewhere on this site. Its not difficult.

I suggest if you cant figure out how to install a SS you stop any attempts and doing mods, as this is like a 1 out of 10 in difficulty.

Lol well in the revo kit, you replace the whole box. Its not difficult as hypnotic20 says. But if you cant take out the center console It would be difficult. Also, you can use the search button to find all of this.

Re: i'm pickin up a short shifter tomorrow

lol if it fits a d-series, it probablly wont fit the d17, as the d17 is the ONLY d-series to use cable transmission which has 2 cables going through the firewall, whereas the older d,b-series short shifters went through the floor... make sure you get the right one tho
