I have 2 Civics, both 2001 models and one LX and one EX.. Both are 2-door coupes, and both have the optional side air bags(don't know if they made those seats any different). Anyway, they are as hard as a rock, and since I have lost like 50lbs, my natural ass padding has decreased.. With that being said, I was wondering if there are any other seats that are more comfortable, or are all the Civic seats this hard? I am not looking for good bolsters or anything, I just need some comfort as I am starting to dread getting in my Civic and driveing more than a few miles. Thanks

Yes!!!!! I can't believe that I actually miss driving my Dodge Neon.. man that car had some good ass and back paddding.. I drove a 2006 EX Civic... those seats are so much softer.
Have you considered getting RSX seats? My sister has a Type S and her seats are awesome. I'm getting some this summer.
Hey, yea I drove a few RSX's but I thought those seats were kind of uncomfortable as well. I do like the upper body and thigh support of the RSX seats, but the ass padding is minimal.
i actually like the seats in my 04, but my back is f'ed up, so i need some decent support. as far as whether the side airbags make a difference, yeah, they do. my friend has the exact same car as mine 04 vp, in SSM, but without the side SRS, and his seats don't have bolsters as large as mine are.
