Need help ?

Last night I found that one of my parking lights is burnt out. I figured I would try something new and put blue bulbs in on both sides. I looked in my owners manual and the bulb size is 168. Am I correct on the size?
Do these bulbs look ok?

Or are these any better?

Has anyone changed there parking light bulbs to a different color and what bulbs did you use?

Thanks

(I rep for those who help)

Re: Need help ?

If it's the taillight you're talking about, yes that's the correct number. you can find a complete list here:
http://www.sylvania.com/ConsumerProd...RG-Results.htm
As for those two LED's you found. I would go with the second one, looks like a sturdy base. However, if you still have you're stock taillights, and you put them in there, the lens itself is red, so it would look like a purple light. If you're going to put them in the front, it would look greenish, unless you cleared out the headlights. You might want to also check the legality of such items in your area. You could probably call the local courthouse and get the number for the department of motor vehicles and askthem.

Re: Need help ?

Why would he want blue bulbs in the tail lights they are covered by red plastic

Yea 168 wedge bulb is the parking bulb up front. The only color other than white I would use is yellow but if you want blue go for it!
