I'm looking to bump the compression in my y8 1 point to 10:1. So I get a little extra power but can still run 87 octane gas. Playing around trying different things on a compression ratio calculator online I noticed p2e pistons out of a y7 with a 2 layer y8 head gasket will get me to about 10.25:1 compression. Googling and looking around on other forums I can't seem to find a record of anyone trying this, or any talk of trying this. Not even a reason not to try it. I'm still fairly new to Hondas so can any one more experienced with swapping things around Hondas give me some input on weather or not I should try it? Or if it's been debated before point me in the right direction so i can read up on it?
