1st - 5th Gen Honda CivicAs these Honda Civics get older and older they become harder to find in great condition and less popular to modify. By no means does this make them less of a contender on the track or car audio competition. Don't forget the roots of what made import tuning what it has become today.

I have a '90 Civic Hatchback that will run great for about a half hour and then the CEL comes on and the engine starts to miss and lose power.I let it set for maybe 10 minutes and it starts and runs good again. I checked the ECU code and it blinks 8 times, which indicates that the TDC sensor is bad.I wonder if I should take a chance and try a new ignition coil before I buy a distributor.A bad coil will cause these same symptoms on the older cars that i've owned over the years.
