1st - 5th Gen Honda Civic As these Honda Civics get older and older they become harder to find in great condition and less popular to modify. By no means does this make them less of a contender on the track or car audio competition. Don't forget the roots of what made import tuning what it has become today.

93 civic with a d16y7

I have a 1993 civic lx with a d16y7 swap. I was wondering if anyone could tell me if I should use intake and radiator parts for a 93 b16 or use the parts for the d16y7. To remove this ad, register today for free or log in if already registered!

Re: 93 civic with a d16y7

Witch intake? manifold or the cold air intake? B series parts will not bolt to you D series motor so no the intake manifold will not work. And if you have the stock y7 manifold the cold air will not work eather. If you are running a z6 or an y8 intake manifold the b16 cold air should work. Maybe a slight mod but should work.
The rad is a half core so it will be the same from 92-2000 civic.
