1st - 5th Gen Honda Civic As these Honda Civics get older and older they become harder to find in great condition and less popular to modify. By no means does this make them less of a contender on the track or car audio competition. Don't forget the roots of what made import tuning what it has become today.

Engines/Transmission..HELP PLEASE!

Hey Guys! Thanks for checking my thread out! I have a '92 Civic CX hatchback with a 5 speed manual transmission. It has the 1.5L d15b8 engine. I am trying to see what engines and transmissions will fit my car for cheapest. I am looking at getting a 1.5 16 valve or maybe a 1.6 16 valve if i can find them. I would appreciate any help on what transmission i need or if i can use a d15b8 transmission with a 1.5L 16 valve from a civic VX. Please any help on this topic would be great! Thanks

Nick
