1st - 5th Gen Honda Civic As these Honda Civics get older and older they become harder to find in great condition and less popular to modify. By no means does this make them less of a contender on the track or car audio competition. Don't forget the roots of what made import tuning what it has become today.

1989 Civic Hatchback Tow Hooks

Hi, new to this Forum and have a question about towing my Civic. Can the factory tow hooks (welded steel tabs with a hole) that are below and behind the front bumper be used for towing my car? I want to tow it 200 miles. I adapted my tow bar to line up and fit between these steel hooks and connect to them. Sure looks like it fits well. Are these hooks strong enough for this use?
