1st - 5th Gen Honda Civic As these Honda Civics get older and older they become harder to find in great condition and less popular to modify. By no means does this make them less of a contender on the track or car audio competition. Don't forget the roots of what made import tuning what it has become today.

Headlight Question?

I'm driving a 1990 ef hatch (Si model), and recently it decided that the headlights had had enough and that I need to replace the lenses. ( I had a piece of the passenger side lens chip off, roll up my hood and get stuck in my windshield wiper while i was driving, scared me just a little).

I've been doing some looking around on the net, and seems all I can find are "proper" replacement lenses and headlamp assemblies for my specific model. That's fine But I'm thinking while I have to do the swap out, I might as well put something a little more interesting in.

I've found plenty of projector headlamp styles for the 88-89 CRX models and was wondering if anyone here has experience with fitting CRX parts in the civic hatch? I know they aren't perfect matches but they are typically similar fit for smaller parts.

If not I would appreciate some redirection for finding projectors that will fit into my car, preferably with minimal hassle and wrench work (though with how tight they make everything it's going to be hell either way.).

Re: Headlight Question?

i dont think theres much support left out there for your car. i just looked and was only able to find 1 set of headlights that im not sure will even work.

what about those? do those look right? im not a big fan of projector headlights but maybe youll like them.

Re: Headlight Question?

Those are nicer then my cratered out old ones, thanks. and it's seeming likely I'll be sticking with OEM if just for simplicity. but damn it feels bad paying 240+ for a pair of boring ass headlamp assemblies, and at the point they're both at, it's going to be a pair.

Also considering just getting the OEM lamps with a pair of cleared out corner markers instead, though I question how awkward that may wind up looking.
