1st - 5th Gen Honda Civic As these Honda Civics get older and older they become harder to find in great condition and less popular to modify. By no means does this make them less of a contender on the track or car audio competition. Don't forget the roots of what made import tuning what it has become today.

95 EX Running Rough need help

Got a 95 EX D16z6... So far ive replaced the spark plugs and wires, cleaned the injectors and fuel rail, and replaced the fuel hose from the filter to the rail... A mouse chewed thru my fuel line and ever since ive been having problems... The car sputters on take off and usually clears up at higher RPM... Most of the time it just feels like it doesnt have enough power to move the car... It'll run fine one day then all the sudden start acting up with back fires and sputters... Every now and then itll thro a code for the Fuel pressure, Pressure Regulator, or Filter... wondering if anyone had some ideas or not? Re: 95 EX Running Rough need help

well if you read my post you will see what happened!!! take out your injectors and on the top of them is a removable filter screen, most likely when the mouse chewed through a piece of hose got lodged in the screens, clean out the screens and you will be fine, as was my problem mine was dirt buildup in my screens, and my car did the exact same thing. good luck.

Re: 95 EX Running Rough need help

i have a 94dx hatch and the same thing is happening to me except it never throws any cel.s and the exhaust puffs white smoke. im not quite sure where to start because ive already replaced the fuel filter, air filter, spark plugs and wires and the radiator with hoses. all the syptoms point to 4 things as far as ive researched either bad o2 sensor, bent valves, blown head gasket or bad fuel pump. good luck man

ps. i also had high nox when i passed smog
