1st - 5th Gen Honda Civic As these Honda Civics get older and older they become harder to find in great condition and less popular to modify. By no means does this make them less of a contender on the track or car audio competition. Don't forget the roots of what made import tuning what it has become today.

Question 95 DX modifications

Hi everyone, this is my first thread on this forum. I just got a 95 DX that is all stock. I am going to be modding this out, but i wanted to know what i should start with. I am thinking the engine, what mods do you think i could start with to gain some HP. Also does anyone have any ideas of what mods i can add to this or some examples of what you have done. Any info would be helpful. thanks.

Also what mods can i do to a stock engine.

Re: 95 DX modifications

i have a 95 4dr dx with the d15b7. currently i have added a cold air kit and full exhaust. 2.5" that includes header and test pipe. the top end has definately improved but the bottem end has suffered. im currently researching an h22a swap.

Re: 95 DX modifications

You should start off with a "mini-me" swap. Take a head off a d16z6(vtec head) and bolt it on with your d15 bottom end.. i have a complete motor for sale.. then add cold air exhaust and such.. maybe even befor you do the head swap build the vtec head with a crowler cam skunk2 intake manifold. butt a gsr throttle body on the intake mani.. thats a nice start
