my buddy got a 95 civic vx hatchback (canadian model) and he just bought a b16a2..it came with motor tranny ecu harness mounts etc.. we got it mounted in and everything..and got the ecu it came with in.. and we read somewhere u can use ur stock harness.. we hooked it all up and needless to say it wont start (i kinda figured this would happen anyways as its our first swap) its gettin fuel as i pulled the plugs and there is gas there..however after i checked for spark i found that its not getting any. also on the stock harness there is 1 extra plug not sure what for. is there anything we forgot to do that is needed when swappin this motor into a 95 vx. (i read somewhere about his old motor not having a knock sensor and the jdm motor does..where would it be at if this is the case and where would you hook it up to etc.) also like i said anything we may have forgotten to do as thsi was our first swap so im sure we coulda forgot alot of things.. but the motor is in and we used the ecu it came with..with his stock wiring harness..it turns over fine..its gettin fuel..just no spark
