1st - 5th Gen Honda Civic As these Honda Civics get older and older they become harder to find in great condition and less popular to modify. By no means does this make them less of a contender on the track or car audio competition. Don't forget the roots of what made import tuning what it has become today.

95 Civic DX

i have a 95 Civic DX i'm really considering to a motor swap. i'm really interested on a b16 swap. i've had just talk to a local specialist and he said that i would probably be spending around 7 thousand for the whole install. does that sound right? that way out of my budget. is there any local shop here in san diego that anyone can recommend? shop that are reliable only please no chop shop. thanks guys.

Re: 95 Civic DX

Dude 7 grand is way too much. Look to spend around 2000-2500 motor, tranny, ecu, and wiring harness. You should spend no more than 5 grand at most. Let me know and I'll make a swap list for you. This way you can buy what you need and not get taken to the cleaners.
