1st - 5th Gen Honda Civic As these Honda Civics get older and older they become harder to find in great condition and less popular to modify. By no means does this make them less of a contender on the track or car audio competition. Don't forget the roots of what made import tuning what it has become today.

Re: d15 what it worth

I'd say no, but it's all personal preference right? Some people don't like swapping, other's see it as essential. Assuming you got a 25-30hp turbo, you'd see maybe 120-130 max? Without any other modifications. For the amount of money and trouble it'd be worth, I'd still say no. I'm waiting till I can afford to do a swap, even with just a swap you'd probably be pushing more power than the D15 with the turbo...

nah not true at all...first question is the d15 vtec or is it a d15b7? ...if its the vtec model its already at like 115 - 125 horse power.. and u cant jus slap the turbo on it...it would require building it, low comp pistons, new fuel injectors for higher flow.. with a good stage 1 clutch and a few other mods u can get a good 250 hp out of that d15 ... good luck id love to see a write up on this

Ehh iv seen stock setup turbos running 8-9psi with stock internals. Buddy of mine is running a similar setup and its been running for about 2yrs now. But either a swap or if you want to stay with the d-series (aka cheap route) you should find yourself a d16a6. Probably close to the best d-series engine you can find. Pretty sure people on here already know that the A6 block has the steel gurdel(sp?) as far as the rest of the d-series engines they have the aluminum ones. Just my 2cents
