1st - 5th Gen Honda CivicAs these Honda Civics get older and older they become harder to find in great condition and less popular to modify. By no means does this make them less of a contender on the track or car audio competition. Don't forget the roots of what made import tuning what it has become today.

-gags- idk dude its nice and clean but -gags again- the kits and the color of the rims just dont settle with me. what motor? i hate it how honda wasnt consistent with valve cover on our 5th gens

Oh come on it's not that bad. I happen to rather love the look of kits. I guess it's all personal preference. I think that bodykits are rather apealing when applied correctly. To me, they are an artistic cosmetic upgrade that gives the car character and an agressive look. Much more than just a lowered "sleeper".
As far as my rims go, They aren't on my favorite's list either. They were on there when I baught the car and havn't got new ones yet. I'll be getting a set of 18" jet black rims with a polished lip. Not sure what brand yet. Still shopping.
My engine blows balls. I do what I can to make it look as nice as it can get, but it still has alot of work to be done on it. My civic is definately all show and no go. It's slow as hell. But oh well, I don't race. I wanna get a v-tec. But I just don't have the money to afford an engine swap.

thats not an ex btw the ex has a D16Z6. look on the block right next to the header to see the engine you got. when i got my car it had a bunch of gay shit too. the guy had pulled the vents out and painted them white. the first thing i did was paint them back grey. i would much rather have a sleeper. with a sleeper it seems people seem to respect you more.

Wow lol. Turns out the guy that sold me the car didn't even know what he had. If it's not an EX then what DO I have? He ripped off all the emblems so idk.
Yeah, that is true though. Having a sleeper would earn you more respect. But I just can't bring myself to like the look of a sleeper. Personally I think if you are going to mod your car, mod it to a point where it fits you. And sleepers just aren't me. I wouldn't necessarily call myself a "ricer" though. Then I'd be driving a lime green civic with a 5" exaust and a $50 snap on aluminum spoiler.

the engine model # is stamped on the block to the left of the exhaust manifold (header) go and look and i could tell you
Ok, I have a D16B7. That means that it's either a DX, CX, or LX. I'm sure it's not a CX though because my particular civic isn't a canadian model. I'll bet mostly on the DX. D16B7 Models have 102hp stock, I wonder what all the aftermarket pieces in my engine did to that.

looks nice except for the tails, idk about the fenders though
The Tails were one of those things that was already on the car when I baught it. I don't like them either. I'm saving for smoked lights to be a bit sleeker with the car.
