1st - 5th Gen Honda Civic As these Honda Civics get older and older they become harder to find in great condition and less popular to modify. By no means does this make them less of a contender on the track or car audio competition. Don't forget the roots of what made import tuning what it has become today.

Question 87 engine swap. help please!

the tranny fork rail broke on my 87 1.3 h3 tranny, no reverse or o.d.
too expensive to rebuild, too hard to find at wrecker.

i need the easyest fit tranny,or engine and tranny combo.
(must bolt right in to existing mounts.) Not looking for preformance i just need the car to run.

i have credit with the wrecker, they just dont have an h3. lots of other honda blocks and trannys though.

help would be appretiated.

hahah i'd sell you my engine it's a EW-4 from an 86 civic but i need my mounts and GSR engine first... i still have to drive to San Antonio to pick it up... i know there's a junkyard in Albuquerque NM where they have another 86 Civic with everything but the tail lights and corner lights and a few other random things that i took... but other than that it's complete...
