engine swap for a 94 civic dx

What would you guys suggest on an engine swap, and tranny if need be. My friend is a mechanic a pretty good one. He caN FIX or fit about any thing in a car. example he has a lambo kit car with a built 350 twin turbo producing around 900+ ponnies and he did it all even the turbo kit..
