Rep Power: 0 Help gsr swap not starting.
As the title reads I finished most all my swap and it will not start but it will turn over.
I believe it is misfiring as I crank so I did a bit of testing and found that my distributor is a tw-44u which from research is from a b16a Would this stop my car from starting?
The other thing I noticed was the spark from my dizzy was orange and not blue so I assume it has a weak spark. I had a civic that wouldn't start before because of this issue. should I replace the plugs or the entire dizzy?
Suggestions would be great.
some background on the parts- I got most parts from someone on CL but it was running when I checked the car out and this car was I believe OBD2. the other parts I got were from a parts car that was OBD1. so I swaped the parts from the obd1 onto the obd2 car since I only had a ecu and harness from the obd1 car.

Re: Help gsr swap not starting.
make sure your plug wires are in the right order other wise your distributor would be firing at the wrong time, the motor needs fuel, spark, and compression to work won't run if any of those 3 are missing or no good

Re: Help gsr swap not starting.
check the timing on the engine you can try another set of plug wire or if you can borrow another distributor. also make sure the distributor is not on 180 out. rotor in the distributor should be at or very very close to 1 when the motor is at top dead center on the intake stroke
