Getting Started, 97 dx coupe.

Hey guys, I bought a 97 Civic coupe dx, manual, d16y7 with 200,000 miles. This is also my first car and I want to put some money into it, but idk where to start. Intake? Exhaust? Or is it even worth putting money into this engine?

Re: Getting Started, 97 dx coupe.

What are your plans? If want sound do an exhaust. If you want looks go for wheels and suspension mods. If you just want a car from point A to B put a nice stereo in it. You're never going to be breaking any speed records with that motor, so I would just do what you will enjoy and go from there. The most important thing is deciding what you want the finished product to be. It will save you time and money in the long run.
