Correct Me If I'm Wrong (D16 Turbo Question)
So I got a 99 Civic Coupe HX 5 Speed D16Y5 VTEC-E
Going boost but keeping the stock engine and head and I'm not going to do nothing big just piecing a kit together and running it at 7-10lbs as this is my daily but just wanting to make it a little more fun so here's where I'm at
I know what I need for the turbo part of it meaning manifold, turbo, down pipe, waste gate, bov, intercooler, piping, fpr, fuel pump, injectors ect.
Ok Now this is where I need confirmation that I'm going about this right, what I'm planning is using my y5 harness with a p28 ecu and have "VTEC-E" engagement set at 2700k-3000k so I can get my full 16 valves going and the p28 will be used with a obd2a to obd1 jumper, and as for the 5 wire o2 on my y5 can I just make the ecu think my secondary 4 wire is actually my primary and get rid of the 5 wire all together, honestly not really worried about inspection or state emissions as I have that under control any insight or ideas please fill me in
