Question!

Okay, how does one depressurize a fuel line if the car's engine has a thrown piston rod.

its a D16y7 in a 96 Civic HB

any advice would be greatly appreciated

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one

Remove the gas cap.

Find the fuel line, find the fitting you want to loosen, put your wrenches on it.
Put a rag over it.
Loosen the fitting.

The whole idea is to not spray it in your eyes or catch it on fire.
Don't smoke, mmmkay?
