88 CRX

I am the pround owner of a 88 CRX, yeah. I'm thinking of droping a B16A in turbo it and have some fun. What do you all think I should do engine wise and stuff? To remove this ad, register today for free or log in if already registered!

well, if your gonna turbo, i'd look into getting some stronger pistons and rods. I'd also think of sleeving the block so you can boost higher psi. probably also need to upgrade the fuel system (fuel rail, fuel pump, bigger injectors), but this should be normal with any turbo application. hope you have fun with it.

i forgot, you might want to get bigger valves and valve springs as well, allow more air/fuel into the combustion chamber.

edit: haven't seen the kit, post a pic

i can tell my 7thgen is really jealous since i am puchasing a jdm b16b or a b18c from jaydm.com in about a year for my 89 crx. i had a 90 crx but that one was a p.o.s. since it overheated a lot

dont waste your money on a b16 if your gonna do boost go for an LS motor, they are really cheap and can handle the boost and you will get more tq and better response. Its the best block for turbo and you wont need vtec
vtec+turbo= help me find a new motor by next weekend!!!
