Could a 2001 Stock Civic beat a 2000 SI Stock?

I've been wanting to race my friend at the track ever since he bought a used 2000 SI. I was wondering if they are both stock, and stick....would I have a chance at all? He said it's damn fast..and he said from riding in my car...that his is much faster....is there that much dfference? What's the HP rating on those...like 160?

Lets see.. the Si weighs less, has beter gearing, better tires stock, 33 more BHP, and you want to know if you can win? If Michael Jackson can get married to a hot chick like Lisa Mare, I guess anything can happen.

yea i think i'd place my bets on the si. All SI's have around 160 and the new civ's ex's at least have 127. and if it's a stock lx i wouldn't even watch the race.
