B20's are fine to swap into a EK, but there is alot of work that needs to be done in order to swap in. 1st you need to know what you are looking to do, LSVTEC, or CRVTEC or just straight B20 conversion. I assume you have a non Vtec model?

good question, will it be HYBRID B20 w/ Vtec head or just a straight B20?
the B20Z has higher compression than the B20B. if you ever plan on doing a turbo, go with the B20B block. then as far as heads go, i think you can take your pic from all the B series Vtec heads. using the B16 Vtec head, you must be VERY CAREFUL not to let the pistons hit the valves, because this hybrid is a very close fit. a block guard might be the way to go on that one. i just spent the last week or so going through all my import mags from the last year or so, and cutting out all the "HYBRID-HOW-TOs", and i must say that i've learned SOO MUCH! if you're interested in hearing what some of the articles have to say, you can either try emailing the magazines for answers on this swap and how to build the hybrid, or you can try emailling me with specific questions, and i can email you back the answers that i've gotten from these articles.

dude....i think that getting a B20 is better then b16 or b18 because a lot of peeps get the same thing....not a lot of peeps get B20.....i think B20 is the way to go (but then again thats what i think)

pros of a b20:
1) larger displacement
2) usually cheaper than a comparable b16 or b18

cons:
1) more work involved, often vtec is desired, so you have to mate a vtec head from somewhere onto the block
2) people say b20/b16a(or b18c, blah blah) hybrids aren't as reliable and require more frequent maintenance
