ok.. here's the scoop.. one of my friends here in taiwan is trying to hook me up with cheap 7th gen parts.. so i was willing to help him out some too.. he wants to know.. ironically.. how much it would be to swap in a USDM center counsel from the 6th gens... now the main difference between the two are that the JDM counsel has sliders and such for the HVAC.. now... what i want to know.. is if in the 6th gens, all of the relays, lighting, functions.. are all part of the counsel with just the plugs on the back for power and control wires.... kinda like the 7th gen ones.. if anyone can help me out, that would be pretty sweet.. thanks..

my friend's got a 97 hatch, and hers is a slider thing. are you trying to swap a 7th gen center console into the 6th gen? you'd better measure the exterior dimensions, and I think the air vents on the 6th gens are smaller than ours.
hehe.. no no.. my friend here has a 99 hatch.. it's got all the sliders too, but he wants to change to a 6th gen USDM center counsel.. the JDM one he has now doesn't have room for a Double-DIN head... i was just wondering how much it would be for one and where i could get it... i'll see if i can find some pics to let you know what i'm talking about.. thanks
