Short answer, no. Focus on what your engine strengths are by increasing air flow in and out. Plenty of power to be gained with the proper dyno tuning too.

i have headers and exhaust and an AEM intake system, what would anyone else recommend to do the civic for more horsepower?

changing the computer does alot on b 16 my friend had a stock computer then put a racing car was completely different

I disagree. Do NOT change the stock computer mapping unless you go to a JDM program as they had more agressive timing and fuel mixture.

As I said before, look into more airflow. Have you considered upgrading your intake manifold and throttle body to an Integra Type R one? That would definitely help increase airflow. How about ITR cams? After that get some adjustable cam gears and have someone do a proper dyno tune.
