Hey guys I believe i know the basics on how to change the grill on an 00 civic ex to an si grill, but i would just like some first hand experience advice on how you've gone about doing it. Take bumper off i hear is a good idea? (If i'm going to change the headlights as well, bumper best be off?)
Thank you

Re: change a grill on a 00 civic ex to si ?/ lights
As a matter of fact, I JUST finished reinstalling the headlights on my 2000 EX, yes, you have to pull off the bumper
Here is a link that I used for reference, and like the guy above said, you have to take off the bumper in order to screw off the grill, you'll notice in the link that the grill just comes off, but that guys civic is a little bit older so dont go yanking on the grill because you'll break something.

That looks like a 6th gen in the video. So on my 1998 I should be able to pop the tabs and swap out the grille, piece of cake, right? I wanna avoid removing the bumper if possible
