Put a hole in the block of my d16y8 engine whats my cheapest option?

Ya so i blew a hole in the block of my 1998 honda civic si just wondering what my best option is and if a d16y7 block is the same as a d16y8?: To remove this ad, register today for free or log in if already registered!

They didn't make an SI that year and if they did it would be a B-series motor

ok well, are there any junkyards with decent motors around? that are the same as factory? Or maybe you could talk to an insurance agency and see if there are any recently totaled vehicles with the same motor? just a sugestion
