96 DX no charge-check engine light

I'm posting as a new member to pick some Honda brains regarding a 96 Civic DX no-charging issue. The check engine light came on 3 days ago,so after I asked my wife some symptoms (slow wipers)I checked voltage across the battery terminals with lights and wipers on-12.1 Volts. So,I replace the alternator-3 hours due to seized swing bolt.Result-12.1 Volts.I check the white wire voltage at the alternator-12.1 Volts RUNNING.Next,I replace the fuse box with a used junkyard peice including the electrical load device in the box-the result-12.1 Volts.Fuse in the interior fuse box is good, all fuses in the fuse box under the hood, good.OBD 2 meter shows electric load sensor bad after 1st alternator replacement( before fuse box replacement). What am I missing here?Is there a circuit breaker or fuseable link?If so,Haynes doesn't show it.Thanks in advance. Re: 96 DX no charge-check engine light

I'd like to update the Civic-illians to what I've found out so far.The CHECK ENGINE light is the one that is illuminated, not the charge light.Thru viewing a post on the later model Civics, this could be an O2 sensor problem-possibly a sensor grounding out. Also, the speedo isn't working. The post on the later Civic says to replace fuse#4 and the 2 O2 sensors.Codes off the scanner read-
141 o2 sensor circuit malfunction bank 1-sensor 2
500-speed sensor
135-o2 sensor bank 1-sensor 1
Please-if anyone has had this problem, give me some input.Happy Fourth-
