I envy you and your car, what was the hardest part of the swap, that is if you did your own work

Re: My 2000 Si GSR Swap

Dude to be honest. Its isn't that tough. The hardest things on a car for me is getting the electrical work done. I would rather put a motor in than wire gauges. Overal it can be a pain, but its nothing hard. Just time consuming.

Yeah I have more money than you can imagine in this vehicle to make it look new. New paint. All new interior all the way down to the dash and carpet. Its not the nicest out there, but looks like it came from factory.

Re: My 2000 Si GSR Swap

You guys should let me know what you all think about turboing or supercharging. I have never dealt with them. All my cars have been all motor cars. I got the swap originally because I wanted to turbo beings the b18 is a lower compression engine which will do for better turbo, but there are alot of people who are saying i should supercharge it with jackson. Give me some impute.

Re: My 2000 Si GSR Swap

turbo it. just get a Go-Autoworks kit and get it tuned. 300whp easy. you'll run 11s. dont bother with a supercharger, cant control the boost as well. theres little out there in the compact world that can go toe to toe with a turbo b18c1. but like any engine, it all comes down to tuning.

Re: My 2000 Si GSR Swap

yeah this is a JDM B18C5 though. Lower compression will make for better turbo right? I dont think the C1 is low compression?
