Its a 97 ex. I've got about 6 grand of parts into it. I did all the work myself. Even the paint. Ive basically swapped every part on the entire car. Including a d15b engine swap.

i like the outside except for the tails and rims. imo the inside would look cleaner if it were blacked out. im not feeling the red headers. other than that its not bad.
are you planning on keeping it flat black or are you ganna clear coat it?

The red paint makes me want to puke. This takes a lot for me condsidering red is my ALL TIME favorite color. I love the way the car looks on the outside, but the engine bay and interior are a little much.
lol. I had to pay for your mom MidnightCivic. Engine swap will run you at least 2 grand out the gate. A grand for the rims and tires. Headers, exhaust, intake, fuel rail, fuel pump, Lowering suspension, front and rear camber kit, paint, headlights, tail lights, grill, Vtec airflow controller. A new ecu and the the frame. Yea that will run about 6 grand. Anyway the car was red before i painted it. I havent got around to redoing the intereior yet. I havent made up my mind whether or not im gonna clear coat yet.
Dude,
I know how it feels to paint a red car black.
You have to remove everything.
I was gonna do that ,
but it just seems like too much trouble dropping out the engine,
and removing alot of the interior.
I have a paint garage,
but if someone asked me to paint red to black,
I would charge them three times as much labor..
But now that I see the black with original red trim,
it has a nice look you'd only find on a tuner.
My point in saying that was that I like how instead of hating the fact
that it's a million times harder to go red to black, that you made it the full theme.
So what do yall think? Keep the red or go ahead and take the time to black interior? I thought about doin some chrome on the inside but I'm thinking that it might be a bit too much. I'm kinda regrettin some of the chrome on the exterior. I don't want to look like a rap video or something lol
