Re: 05 cluster swap

i doubt it, the mounting is different and so are the connectors, so even if you got ahold of the wire diagrams and spliced wires, it physically would not fit in place like the old one. im not sure how you would get the lcd mileage display to work either.

Re: 05 cluster swap

Well here is a little rebirth, I pulled out my old diagrams and figured out how I had everything hooked up. If anyone has any ideas on how to get the Gear position to work that would be great. Still again the temp gauge will no work.

Re: 05 cluster swap

Well like I said the fuel gauge is off a bit so you would have to figure out where its empty with your actual tank, but one it warms up a little and I can get back outside I'm going to see if putting a resistor in the line before it goes into the gauge will make the gauge read any lower to get it closer. Fitting will be tricky, If you cut the two bottom tabs then it should go in pretty good its just the bezel that your going to have to figure out cause the one for our car does not fit the cluster nor will the 03-05 bezel fit in our dash. Also here is an updated diagram I forgot to put the second ground wire on it.

Re: 05 cluster swap

Alright hooked up a few things today. I just tapped into the wires of my current cluster and ran them from the dash so the new dash it just sitting in my seat right now. Only thing I have hooked up is power, ground, tach, spedo, and fuel. I'm uploading video now so hopefully it will be done by the time I go into work if not I'll post them later tonight.
