I would buy my 99-00 type r poly front lip that is brand new, never been installed. j/k, but seriously, I would do suspension first then maybe tint. Buy my lip!
Just throw some rims on there. Rims will make it looker 100 x's better right off the bat. It will give you some inspiration to finish the rest of the work as well. I'd say rims, tint headlights, tail lights, then go from there. Don't get all that small stuff first because other people won't even notice it. It's all about attention and just making it your style.
Honestly,
I'd go for performance first.
At least the intake and exhaust,
make it sound like it has balls,
then make it look good.
But rims are a good first,
Then if you can't do a whole kit,
just a front bumper makes alot of difference.
OH, yeah you should lower it right off the bat.
Just my opinion.
It depends on what you want out of your car. If you like working on it and getting greasy then go all performance first. But if you just want other people to say hey nice car(by other people I mean those that don't know anything about cars) then go rims, headlights, tail lights and maybe lower with a good camber kit.
It really depends on whether you want to start out being more go than show. Personally, i am more go than show, but i would choose rims first and THEN intake, exhaust, shocks+springs, short shift kit, etc.
The first thing you need to do is plan THE WHOLE BUILD. And then build it from the outside in depending on the application (i.e. daily driver, autocross, drag, etc.) How would you know what suspension to put in until you know how the car's gonna be driven? How do you know what exhaust to get until you know how you plan on making power (boost, N/A)? And how much power?
By building outside in - I mean you start with the suspension and work your way to the motor (tires, suspension, tranny, motor). You don't want to start with a big ass powerhouse motor and run it on stock suspension, for example.
