i would like to get a security system to protect my subs..ect..my brothers civic recently got broken into and his $800 system got stolen. any suggestions on a nice reliable security system To remove this ad, register today for free or log in if already registered!

compustar. as long as you're within range you'll get paged if so much as a bird shits on your car innappropriately all the professional installers i know use that system

its not about what alarm it is its about the installation...
but yea 2way alarms are definitly nicer because you get paged but i mean you can get something cheap and just hook it up so everything starts lighting up and making noise and all that...just make sure u have all the triggers set up and you'll be good if your that serious bout it slapp a second battery in your trunk so it they cut the cables in the front your alarm will still go off

a fuel cut off switch would protect your car from getting stolen, but it wouldnt do much for your subs

Theres several things you can do to protect your car, ever heard of lo-Jack? its satelite monitored and you can controll it from your cell phone no matter where you are, i have also seen tinted windows that use a special film to make the glass bullet proof... you can hit it with a sledgehammer and it wont break... how good is that?
