Unhappy I think i blew my Clutch!

yea i was drivin home and i when i was making a turn in my neighboorhood... i heard a clicking/Racketing soud and my car turned off... i turned it back on and i shifted into first and the sound came up again and my car wasnt moving, and same with the reverse so i think i jus blew the whole clutch... please help... what should i do? and if i need a new clutch what kind should i get and how much should i expect for installation... thanks To remove this ad, register today for free or log in if already registered!

well, first of all, where did your clutch start to grab before this issue? the clicking sound could be a CV joint blowing out, cause it happened while you were turning, and now your torque converter is spinning on one side, thus the lack of movement.

i dono, i was typin my gate code and i pass through the gate and i went to the stop sign and i tried making a right turn from neutural and it jus was making the like scratchy clicking sound and it wouldnt move at all.. so my dad (he knows how to drive stick flawlessly) tried it and he said it was the clutch...so yea... how much u think would it be for a new clutch and installation?

800-1000 depending, and u cannot "blow" ur clutch, and a clutch will not simply go out, u will start to notice things, my best guess would be slave cylinder, if u can get into gear, its not ur clutch, but i would get it looked at
